Shelter-In-Place boredom

So since we're all cooped up inside for the next few weeks, what are we all doing to waste the time?

My work declared themselves essential, so I'm still working; but I've been whittling away on my backlog of Netflix films at night.

Got a couple XBox One games in the backlog to play through as well.

Re: AHL Shut Down???

USHL declares season canceled. AHL still hanging on. NHL says their plan is to open up a "training camp" in June, resume in July, playoffs in August, September Stanley Cup Final, draft and free agency in October, and 2020-21 season starts in November. Meaning.... AHL would likely shadow. Unless they...

Re: AHL Shut Down???

I think the only question is suspension vs outright cancellation. We'll see. All the teams, except for the NCAA and college conferences, used the word "suspended" because this way they dont have to issue refunds right away because the dates could be rescheduled. They're just postponing the remainde...

Re: Affiliation Circus

I know it won't happen, but wouldn't it be cool, to be in the Easter Conference? A whole bunch of teams we haven't played in quite some time. If I was a Charlotte Checker fan, I'd be stoked because I believe they've seen everyone in the league this last decade. Well, except maybe two or three Calif...

Re: Affiliation Circus

I had heard the Carolina connection as well when the Rampage move was announced, so that really isn't a surprise.

And we all should recognize their President and General Manager...

Which means that they'll likely be hands off unless they have to.

Affiliation Circus

To recap: Vegas had their honeymoon wear off and wanted to have their own AHL affiliation. So they offered San Antonio a couple free buffet vouchers and a permanent seat at any Cirque show they wanted and wooed the Rampage to Henderson. Meanwhile, a couple NHL teams *cough*Carolina*cough*Chicago*cou...

Re: [Game Thread] 3.5 vs the Tucsons

I get that Vegas is close to the salary cap and is playing the transaction game to save a few nickels, but the next CBA needs to figure this out.
