2014 St.Pats jerseys.

Postby 4leafs » Sun Feb 02, 2014 3:38 pm

Once again very dissapointed in the creating of the St.patricks Day jersey..Do not like the orange at all..At least there is a Wolves logo on the front.Hopefully looks better in person..Wonder what the people bidding on these will think? Or do they really care since it is for charity.

I don't know, I like the reverse nameplate, it's a cool feature. There's only so many things you can do w/ this theme, & a lot of them are similiar. It might be one of those where they look better in person, there are many hockey jerseys that are like that, they don't look so good on tv, but when you actually see one, it has much more detail than originally thought.

Don't worry, I am sure there will be some creative people running up the bids with no intention of purchasing them, but to help the charity out.

The prices are high enough, without people upping the bids,I hope one of those people get stuck having to pay for one of those jerseys that they can't afford..That would teach them. With that being said, the jerseys are going to raise alot of money for charity, which is great..

I have no problem with people "overbidding/overpaying" for something if it goes to charity. Heck I have done it where I paid a shitload of money that went to cancer research and others for CF and Make a Wish, that I would almost guarantee wouldn't buy at the prices I did if someone where to sell it in a store or even on here.

I have a problem with some jackass that is standing there writing his name down just to up the price on something. I have seen it before at the Wolves games as well as other events, and for one time I would love for them to just say......."bidding stops right NOW." and the assholes would get stuck with 5 things. :D

We are definetly on the same page? Well said.If your name is not somewhere on the bidding sheet before the second period begins them you really aren't interested in trying to win a jersey..Just a ass-clown.

I partially disagree... on any of the specialty jerseys I've ever won, I never bid until the last minute. Otherwise, why drive up the price for no reason (and potentially outprice yourself).

Now, if they made a rule that you have to bid before the 2nd period, to be able to bid in the 2nd intermission, I wouldn't have an issue with that. It forces people to bid early, but would potentially keep bidders away that may "settle" for any player just to have one.

Just to raise them, because you think you are helping out the cause, with no interest of buying is wrong. There is at least one guy that does this every time.

Why don't you just call him out on it when you see him do it?

What's the point? The Wolves won't do anything about it, and that person will still keep doing it.

It's St. Patrick's Day, not St. Patty's. Design failure.
