Back in the driver's seat, hardest game to win, have to stay focused & play hard.

I'm there.

Iowa is not fast, just opportunistic. Make good outlet passes and get some bodies crashing the net. Hammonds's a good first save goalie but leaving a lot of rebounds.

Greatest win in quite some time. After a very slow start we found our grove. Oscar was outstanding. It was great to see Sparty (Sue & John), onto the Conference Finals!

I knew it was going to be a good night when I looked down from my seats in 202 during the anthem and saw the Spartys.

You're right, they came out a bit flat but picked it up after that first 5:00 of the 1st. Thought that second goal might get waved off but when the ref waved no goal, then pointed to the net...which is it? There really wasn't a good enough angle on the replay to overturn so last signal counts I guess. The last 2:00 of the 3rd the boys were blocking shots and passing lanes, limiting Iowa's options. Good solid effort.

See ya Friday
