Hopefully the warmer weather hasn't affected them too much, many days off, some wins are needed.

So far so good. Only 3 penalties all game, with the Wolves having 2 power plays and scoring on one of them. The Wolves also outshot them 31-20 which is good to see. BUT out of those 20, 3 went in. Hyka with the Hat Trick too.

WOLVES TORCH TUCSON, REGAIN FIRST PLACE

Forward Tomas Hyka notched a hat trick to lead the Chicago Wolves to a 6-3 victory over the Tucson Roadrunners on Friday night at the Tucson Convention Center Arena.

The win enabled the Wolves to vault over the Iowa Wild and regain first place in the AHL's Central Division.

Hyka will need to be our star player, along with Carr, in the second half of the season. As I understand the rules Pirri is basically gone. If he plays against the Blackhawks tonight, he will have 10 NHL games and would have to go through waivers to come back down.My guess is that he will remain up, playing or healthy scratch, with Vegas the rest of the year as they obviously value him as a go to fill in for injuries. Vegas can also use him and his recent success as trade bait in a package deal, better to get something for him instead of giving him away free on the waiver wire.

Tonight's game will be free on AHL TV if anyone who hasn't subscribed wants to watch.

We came out blazing, need to see more of this on a regular basis. Not sure what will happen tonight, if there is a spot for Fucale to start, it might be tonight. Non-division game.

Well that stinks. Took a 2-1 lead into the third and lost 3-2 as they scored 2 goals in the 3rd. 3 penalties in the 3rd alone I am sure hurt, and they got their only PP goal in that period. Oh well. Come back to play the next 3 at home against division teams starting Wednesday night.
