2 games with an newly formed team, opening night for them in the "A". Hopefully I can get AHLTV to work properly on our big screen.

AHLTV app not ready to download on Roku yet. Looks like I'm watching on my PC

I have my laptop plugged into my TV via hdmi. Is it just me or is there a lack of on ice sound. I hear the announcers and the fans, but there doesn't seem to be any sound from on the ice. Not a big deal at all, just seems a little weird

I flipped to a couple other games during a break, and they have regular sound, strange

I think Colorado's arena has some challenges. Lighting seems poor too.

Definate issues in Colorado, brightness/contrast going in and and out.

Probably a case of "we have the in house feed and we're throwing Wolves audio on top of it."

Flex reporting live from Colorado.......
Game 1 The Wolves dominated puck control for 75% of thgame. The first period was pretty even but the entire 2nd and 3rd the Wolves did whatever they wanted. The problem was, with all of our game control and great passing we weren’t getting much on net. We won an overwhelming majority of face offs and won every puck in the corners and the side boards.

Game 2 Absolute, complete domination by The Wolves. Playing in mid season form. Great positioning, passes and communications. They just buried more opportunities and the sad thing is they missed two more easy ones and had another goal disallowed on a phantom incidental contact call.
The refs were horrible last night but it didn’t help either team.

The Eagles team ....
Too many ECHL returners from their back to back Championship teams. Not enough offensive talent from last year’s Rampage and Cody Bass.
Nothing in sync which I’m sure will get much better. They played like a weak team who also was playing opening weekend sloppy.

The Budweiser Center.....
Nice, newer small building
5250 and all seats are great views. The concourses are way too narrow and lines and the men’s bathrooms all game long, odd for an arena designed in the last 15 years. My brother and I with two different phone services had no service in the building.
Incredible cheerleaders everywhere........ very nice

Eagles Fans...........
All come from a three town area.
4000 are STHs out of 5200 seats.
Loud and passionate about their Eagles.

Spoiled by 7 conference championships and 4 Kelly cups in 14 seasons.
They quickly became disgruntled with the refs and will need to get used to playing at the A level.

um...they only have 7 returnees and six of those are under contract to the avalanche. so they really only have one returnee from the echl team. not to mention one of those six, was injured all last season as well.

I thought the Sat game was a much better effort, just glad I was able to get AHLTV working with my first generation smart tv.

Cheapshot on Brannstrom hope he is ok, both players should be suspended for that intent to injure.

Hmm lines to johns but lots of hot cheerleaders. I think I'll cut back on my beer consumption for 2 1/2 hours and enjoy the game and scenery.

...which you'll be able to do next season, since we only go to Colorado twice this year.

Assuming we even get them *next* year on the schedule...

Thanks indeed for the update flex. Even got it covered down to the cheerleaders. Youe eyes are to good to be a referee. 8)
Watched the game Friday on AHLTV. Wolves seemed a bit out of sync in the first period on D but got better as the game went on. Missed the second game. After seeing the score and our man Flex's summary from the game wish I could have seen it to. Nice start to the season.

Go WOLVES.
For a really bad officiating job call Harry Dumas. Contact the AHL for further details or other incomp-o-tant striped shirt idiots.
